- Responsibilities
- Eddie is a principal consultant with PAC Solutions and works closely with a number of Clients on Property and Facilities Management Strategies, and Implementation.
- Professional Experience
- Eddie started his career in the Oil Industry as an Electrical Design and Construction Engineer for BNOC/Britoil and BP. Projects included BNOC Nigg Oil Terminal, Beatrice Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie, and Thistle and BP Magnus. He them moved into Maintenance and Operations and was Senior Electrical Engineer for Britoil for their onshore and offshore facilities for several years. Eddie then left the Oil Industry and moved to the London International Financial Futures Exchange where he was Head of Facilities. From there he moved to Microsoft where he was UK Facilities Manager and EMEA Real Estate Account Manager. During this period Eddie also served as a Southern Region Judge for the B.C.O. property awards and was also a member of the C.B.I. Property Advisory Committee. After 15 years with Microsoft Eddie moved to Electronic Arts as EMEA Head of Properties and Facilities.
Eddie left EA in 2006 and moved into Consulting where he managed the property acquisition and disposal of the Link Stores for O2, worked with Hutchinson 3G on their property acquisition and store roll out strategy, and advised Symbian Software on their property and facilities operational delivery model. Currently working with Nokia Siemens Networks, Eddie has supported the interface between the property consolidation/reduction and the global outsourcing of the facilities operation, and has been deployed into Europe and the Asia Pacific region to resolve issues and support the ongoing transition.
